In the beautiful village, country of the thunder Dragon,
\nfar in the eastern world, I was born.
\nI was only in my fourth year of childhood,
\nbarely uttering the world of motherhood.<\/p>\n

The tyrannical government of Bhutan is monarchial,
\nit declared Nepali-race people as antinational.
\nFirst seizing the citizens of grand parents,
\nthen starting to torture the parents.<\/p>\n

The king left the slogan “One country, one race”
\nthe sergeant started to act their base.
\nKidnapping, rapping and killing many young ladies,
\nthrown in the river many sapling babies.<\/p>\n

Our parent\u2019s bank accounts were seized,
\nmade penniless and treated as wild beast.
\nUltimately we were levied to leave the country,
\nwhere our seven generations had their cemetery.<\/p>\n

Distressed countryman sobbing and crying,
\nleft the birth place in dying.
\nSet the camp in Assam, northern India,
\nmany died in starvations and malaria.<\/p>\n

The Indian CRP loaded people in the truck’
\ndid not allow to stay over, it is our bad luck.
\nStated Nepal is for Nepali race people,
\ndid not respect human rights, situation was terrible.<\/p>\n

Dozen flee and set refugee camp in Nepal
\nUNHCR appeared as god to feed their soul.
\nMany lost their infants due to malnutrition,
\nepidemic and poor sanitations.<\/p>\n

Life as a refugee is despairful
\nmany treated us as free labor, life wasn’t peaceful.
\nFor seventeen years humanism were limited to boundary,
\nI cannot express agonies of all and sundry.<\/p>\n

All our peaceful attempts to be back to our homeland,
\ngone in vain for India did not join our hands.
\nFor every movement we did for our country’s democracy,
\nIndian government was the hindrance, the greatest diplomacy.<\/p>\n

Chasing us out, the government of Bhutan is not sound,
\nstill torturing and trying to exile one hundred thousand.
\nSo, being distressed to go beyond the boundary,
\nwe chose the way abroad far in the western country.<\/p>\n

UNHCR brought third country resettlement as a solution,
\nwhich brought lots of internal clashes and suspicion.
\nMany of our leaders are against the option,
\nbut people take the proposal as animation.<\/p>\n

USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark and the Netherland,
\nare the host countries for sheltering refuge from Bhutan.
\nPeople chose migration as their only the option,
\nto be away from about twenty five years corruption.<\/p>\n

More than twenty thousand* are now in United States,
\nscattered in almost all cities in their new destination.
\nDreaming to have future generation great,
\nbut for many reasons lot has to regret.<\/p>\n

The worst situation in the bad economic condition,
\nall American themselves are in the greatest tension.
\nNo job opportunities no income for medic aid,
\nno enough money to pay rent no place to engage.
\n\u2026\u2026\u2026….<\/p>\n
