In the dead of the night a cock did crow,

I heisted once the warm quilt to throw.

Greatest regret would it have been,

Not to be in that desert green!!

It wasn’t funny for the fouls to sing,

With guitars in hands I saw them dance in ring.

I then noticed their wings on me,

With the flicker of time I was on a tree!

I flew and flew to the heights with joy,

At length down, I saw elephants play with toys.

Deer ridiculously kissed the tigers,

And saw the horses upon soldiers as riders.

The rivers flowed to the mountain top,

While rats were harvesting the crop.

Everest was seen raised to the ground,

To the Golan Heights was Marianas Trench found.

On the oven was ice-cream made,

All the fishes were sleeping on bed.

Goats and pigs were slaughtering men to feast,

And all the towns and cities were inhabitated by beasts.

Sahara looked so green with patches of blue,

Moisture less was Pacific and the Nile too.

With piles of snow was the Equator filled,

And with scorching heat were the Poles thrilled.

The lion at the top corner was busy making web,

While the spiders reigned in dens in the cave.

The world looked so different from the bygone days,

May be it was with the Sun’s dark grey rays.

The gallant red moon appeared at the break of dawn,

West to East, smiling she toured with a frown.

As in a dream I witnessed all these things,

But twenty million years ahead was the age gone,

And it was none of the dreams!!!!!
