The dawn\u2019s gonna crack,

She starts frying maze in handi*<\/em>
\nFarmer yawns and gets out with water in a vessel,
\nAnd washes his face and uses his cap to dry it.
\nBoth sit on a mat and eat fried maize as breakfast with black tea with salt.
\nHe steps off intending to stride, pauses at the door,
\nWife understands what he expects.
\nShe rushes to him and hugs him,
\nWhile he kisses her.
\nBoth wish each other for great day.
\nIt\u2019s the winter season,
\nTime to plough the field for sowing maize.
\nFamer carries plough and yoke tied with plough shaft
\nHaha** Furke***, haha haha Tikhe***<\/em>– chases the oxen to yoke them.
\nThe land lies behind a precipice,
\nSun rays visit him as chief guest and disappear.
\nHe takes a break, letting the oxen rest,
\nHe smokes blowing cloud of smoke looking around.
\nWife brings him lunch-
\nSoup of fermented dried vegetable leaves.
\nSpicy curry of yam,
\nAnd porridge of millet flour.
\nFarmer couple enjoy the dish.<\/p>\n

Both hug each other,
\nWith the promise of meeting soon.
\nWife takes her way home
\nWhile husband continues ploughing.
\nThe horizon gets blushed as a shy beautiful lady,
\nIndicating the farmer to prepare to go home.
\nHe unyokes the oxen and chases them back home,
\nTies them in oxen shed and gives them hay
\nAnd hot soup made of leaves of pumpkin.
\n\u201cSanee\u2019s papa,\u201dwife calls him,
\n\u201cDiner is ready, let\u2019s eat, our daughter is hungry.\u201d
\nThe small farmer family- farmer couple,
\nAnd their only daughter Sanee enjoy the dinner.<\/p>\n
