Coming across woeful frosting
\nWe came round to long suffering.
\nSeveral times our hearts clung to the wobbling motion
\nAnd got worked up by mental vibration.
\nTo live abroad is to take the wind out of the sails
\nFor there seems volte-face, low controls…
\nMany dears of ours got the wind up
\nAnd gave all their missions up;
\nBeing so altruistic in manners
\nAlthough could open no realm of gardens.
\nLet’s not get one’s wires crossed with our tone
\nBut keep one’s wits about one,
\nAnd set our eyes on
\nThe ‘Loving Meadow Land’<\/p>\n
