मानवता: एक जीउँदो लास
भयभित संसारको आतंक र कोलाहालमा
पिल्सिएको लाचार मानवता ,
सेतो कफनमा जीउँदो लास सरि
जलिरहेछ चिताको आगोमा ।
त्रसित संसारको एकान्त भवन
एकाएक ढलेपछि, मानवता
विस्फोटित भएर सडकमा
असह्य पीडामा छटपटाइरहेछ ।
मानव हृदयमा आतंकले
कालो पर्दा हालेपछि, एकोहोरो अँध्यारोमा
हिंस्रकको दृष्टान्त,मानवता
खल्बलाइरहेछ शान्ति ।
अँध्यारोमा सूर्यको प्रकाश पनि
व्यथित बन्दै, बादलको घुम्टोबाट
मानव चरित्रको इतिहास
चिहाई चिहाई हेरिरहेछ ।
मानव चरित्रको इतिहासमा
चिर निद्रामा मानवता
जीउँदो लाससरि
ब्रह्मनालमा सुतिरहेछ ।
तर मानव! जीउँदो मानवतालाई
साझा चितामा,निसंकोच
हिंसाको पुल्ठो बाली
अन्तिम दागबत्ती दिइरहेछ।
