Bhutanseliterature.com Declares the Board of Founder Members

With the light of the newest day of the year 2010, Bhutaneseliterature.com has formally declared the Board of Founder Members of the literary site which was started from May 2009.

The inception of the site took place being motivated with the whims of making a common platform for Bhutanese writers, readers and literature lovers. The formal and informal discussions were going on from a long time. The launch of the site took place as a blog under WordPress community which was later upgraded.

The board consists of five members who have been continuously contributing the ideas (and literary articles) from before the site was formally launched. The Board has yet not mentioned the portfolios and office responsibilities of its members. It is expected to be done soon.

As the control panel of the non profit platform, the Board will shoulder the responsibility of finalizing the Board of Editors, the Board of Regional Representatives (which may eventually function as an executive body), writing the by-laws, making future plans etc.

Apart from being the literary site, in its initiation, Bhutaneseliterature.com has been coordinating audio section आप्रबासका सुसेलीहरु and a discussion forum Chautari.

The Site Admin of all the three sites, initiated and coordinated for a common motive, thanks all the contributors, writers and well wishers for their continual support which was instrumental in motivating us to work for literature. The Admin believes that the support will ever remain recurring. We welcome the suggestions and constructive criticisms of the individuals and the groups for the well-being, improvement and further developments.

Bhutaneseliterature.com welcomes all forms of literary works written in Nepali, English and Dzongkha, which are unbiased and not critical towards the integrity of individuals, race, religion, culture, language and country.

Let the Year 2010 be a milestone for our literary prosperity!

Thankiny you for formalising the board of founding members !

As far as I am concerned we have started to do the great thing but this may be just the begining towards our landmark.

Now, I as a frelence writer would expect following from the board of founding members. I also would like to dram your attention in the matters discussed as under:

    1. Can it be possible to formulate the code of ethics for the operation of the site? It would be basis for the founding members to activate themselves with in the responsibility.

    2. Can it be possible to draft the structure on how the board of the representative and board of editors will be set?

    3. Can it be possible to plan in the quoram of the founding members on how the representation can be brought?

    4. How about proposing the cited representative for the site by the board of the founding members?

    5. One thing very important is basis of representation, as many writers are equally showing their interest in working with the site.

Once more I would like to thank the admin for the publication of the founding body and would like to congratulate the members of the body for their initiation for the development of the bhutanese Literature. May their role help us develop our literature to the zenith of its perfection.

First and foremostly, I would like to extend my hearty congratulation for strengthening this Literary site by forming the board.of founder members.I being one of the curious eyes of this site, have been witnessing every task associated with iit since a couples of months. I’t is fantastic and inspiring idea to entangle a chain of friendship in a global context. Ofcourse, I have nothing to point out as a weak point of this literary platform but I ensure to remain always vigilant to see forward it’s successive move in the days to come. At last but not the least, I pray for the fast recovery of my beloved friend Sancha Khaling, That’s all. Thanks and Byeeeeeeeeeeeeee
