From June 1st to 4th, Gross National Happiness Conference was held at Champlain University, Birlington, Vermont. There were partakers from all over the world. Karma Tseetim, Secretary for Gross National Happiness Commission, was the leader of three members team from Bhutan. New York based freelance reporter Sonam Wongmo and Tshering Tashi, a co-author of the book ‘From Jesuits to Jetsetters, BOLD BHUTAN BECKONS, Inhaling Gross National Happiness’ were also present. A team of Bhutanese exilee also participated in the conference. When the team of exilee met with the team from insiders, there was a gratifying milieu created. The team could not impound themselves just in the handshake, they too hugged each other. There was exchange of delight on meeting and sitting together after about 20 years. This was the milieu of togetherness. Both the parties were thrilled to share each other. Both the team shared for the National Reconciliation. How gorgeous was the prospect of sitting together and sharing each other!
During the meet, the matter of Dzongkha publication from Bhutanese Literature dot Com was also conversed.
While, it can be a thematic affair that if Dzongkha could be managed to publish from this site, this can be a wonderful magnum opus for the National Reconciliation. Upon the cozy environment faced by the team in togetherness, this site by publishing Dzongkha articles can still craft more coziness among ourselves. After all the insiders and the exilee both are the kith and kin of the same motherland, just having twisted to different direction due to some misapprehensions. It is a household affair. Sitting jointly and conciliating on both parties’ stipulation can fetch the solution to be together. As the saying United we stand, divided we fall, we can perceive the divine contentment when we reconcile. The advocacy made on Gross National Happiness by the Royal Government of Bhutan can be 100% booming when there is the National Reconciliation.
Bhutanese Literature dot Com hopes that in the early future, there will be a compliance for the National Reconciliation. Both insiders and exilee hold each other’s hand and sing bravura song of the nation and set up together for the national advancement.
