LCOB Membership Renewal Notice 2025

As per the decision made during the Board of Directors meeting of the Literature Council of Bhutan (LCOB) on February 16, 2025, all existing members are required to renew their membership by March 25, 2025. Additionally, individuals who obtained lifetime membership of Sahitya Parishad Bhutan before the resettlement process began in 2007 must also renew their membership with the Council in light of migration and settlement changes. Those who do not renew their membership will no longer be considered members of the Council. New memberships will remain open for application at any time. The Council reserves the right to grant or deny membership, and membership fees paid will be refunded if the application is not accepted. The Board Meeting has also considered granting honorary memberships based on specific criteria and endorsement by the existing Board of Directors of LCOB. This decision was taken to revitalize the organization, improve organizational capacity, and effectively execute administrative functions.
Membership Fees:
- General Membership: $100 (renewable every two years)
- Lifetime Membership: $500
- Nepal Residents: Special membership fee of Rs 100 (renewable every two years)
Application Process: Any individual from the Bhutanese community, including those who have become a part of the Bhutanese community through marital relationships, can apply for membership by submitting the membership form to the LCOB Secretariat (E-mail to khemrizal81@gmail.com).
Payments should be made via cheque or any other reliable money transfer method to Treasurer Pramananda Bastola or Tila Rupa Acharya. Once the form is completed, please contact:

साहित्य परिषद भूटान (LCOB) को सदस्यता नवीकरण सूचना
साहित्य परिषद भूटान (LCOB) को सञ्चालक समिति (Board of Directors) को बैठकमा २०२५ फेब्रुअरी १६ मा गरिएको निर्णयअनुसार सबै हालका सदस्यहरूले २०२५ फेब्रुअरी २५ भित्र आफ्नो सदस्यता नवीकरण गर्नुपर्नेछ।
साथै, २००७ अघि पुनर्स्थापन प्रक्रिया सुरु हुनुपूर्व साहित्य परिषद् भूटानको आजीवन सदस्यता प्राप्त गरेका व्यक्तिहरूले पनि स्थानान्तरण र पुनर्स्थापनका कारण परिषदसँग आफ्नो सदस्यता नवीकरण गर्नुपर्नेछ। सदस्यता नवीकरण नगर्नेहरू परिषदका सदस्य मानिने छैनन्। नयाँ सदस्यता कुनै पनि समयमा आवेदन दिन खुला रहनेछ। सदस्यता प्रदान गर्ने वा अस्वीकार गर्ने अधिकार परिषद्मा सुरक्षित राख्नेछ र आवेदन स्वीकृत नभएमा तिरिएको सदस्यता शुल्क फिर्ता गरिनेछ।
सञ्चालक समितिले निश्चित मापदण्ड तथा हालका सञ्चालक समितिको अनुमोदनका आधारमा मानार्थ सदस्यता (Honorary Membership) प्रदान गर्ने विषयमा पनि विचार गरेको छ। यस निर्णयले संस्थालाई पुनरुत्थान गर्न, संस्थागत क्षमता सुधार गर्न तथा प्रशासनिक कार्यहरू प्रभावकारी रूपमा कार्यान्वयन गर्न मद्दत गर्नेछ।
सदस्यता शुल्क:
- साधारण सदस्यता: $100 (हरेक दुई वर्षमा नवीकरण गर्नुपर्ने)
- आजीवन सदस्यता: $500
- नेपालमा रहनु हुनेहरूका लागि: विशेष सदस्यता शुल्क रु १०० (हरेक दुई वर्षमा नवीकरण गर्नुपर्ने)

भुटानी समुदायका कुनै पनि व्यक्ति साथै वैवाहिक सम्बन्धमार्फत भुटानी समुदायको सदस्य बनेका व्यक्तिले सदस्यताको लागि आवेदन दिन सक्नुहुनेछ (E-mail to khemrizal81@gmail.com)। आवेदन फारम पूरा गरेपछि शुल्क तिर्नका लागि निम्नानुसारका व्यक्तिहरूसँग सम्पर्क गर्नुहोला:
