OBCA to organize literary symposium
The Organization of Bhutanese Communities in America (OBCA) is scheduled to launch one day Nepali literary symposium on October 26, 2013 in Connecticut.
According to a press release issued by its Press and Publicity Secretary, Karna Gurung, the program will be launched in collaboration with Bhutanese Community of Hartford, Connecticut and Bhutanese Creative Group of Springfield, Massachusetts,
OBCA has also informed that on the day, it will recognize and honor community literary figures, hold literary session and present cultural program.
According to Gurung, the symposium is supported by Global Bhutanese Literary Organization (GBLO), Bhutanese Creative Connection, USA, White Himal Television, Bhutan Lekhak Munch, Gajal Munch Bhutan, International Nepali Literary Society-New York Chapter, Bhutaneseliterature.com, Rubai Munch Bhutan and Bhutanese Artist.com.
The organizers have mentioned that a huge participation will be made from inside the United States while those outside the States can participate via Skype.
The organizers said they are preparing for a live cast through cabhutanese.org, Bhutaneseliterature,com, obcaamerica.org, bcrva.org,and inlsny.org.
