Between the Reality and the Dream

Poet

Degnath Acharya,
Washington, USA

Carrying out the discretion
Between the reality and the dream,
There seems my blue blood in good function
But is rather better only in that form.

While going through with that sensation
There seems our midland extending her sidelight,
And in the midst of the reality and the vision
No rough road lies as the dismal jest.

What of that?
Giving a diamond field in the dream
And throwing away high and dry-out
Of the boundary of warm reception-in the rime.

I don’t find me in high spirits
Neither in the dreamland, nor real:
But there I reach having full grace and gardenings
Between the dreamy and the real zeal.

What though it be so -never shall I mind:
For my fair promise shall never be high words.
But indeed it transforms my early wound
Making me a promising youth, as the brave ancestors.
