Get in a fluster over trifles not
And grind your hopes in a panic not
For you have a long way to go yet
Crossing all the life’s illusions and debate.
Throw off balance not in such petty stuff,
And be woebegone not, think it a smoke puff.
For in doing so you lose not the worth of life
Falling even in the gulf of strife.
Give credence to life over element of import,
Give hope to life as sunshine you see as lode
Bestow all that makes life worth living
And make you and yours evermore enlivening.
In life nothing as of such import as love,
Beauty that it doesn’t want to slough
