I’m Gone

Poet

Yati Raj Ajnabee
Adelaide, Australia

Wave me with your cheery face
That’s all I wish to keep on my pace.
From us uninterrupted time may depart
But we stay in each other’s heart.

Parting urges to be again together,
It’s one part of the love’s weather.
No wonder let there be rain or shine
But remain you in the mind of mine.

Think always time heals wound the best,
Moment itself sets your mind at rest.
Then you’ll be as pleased as Punch
Furthermore feel the great your hunch.

None’s there in the human race entire
Who’s never alone breathed a life dire.
Have the matters that matter you done
But I shall come and now I’m gone.
