Your incessant prop up and good wishes have crafted us to accomplish the commemoration of this First Anniversary. We have set a pace ahead in the history of Bhutanese Literature.

The global arena of literature is unfathomable, spacious and in immeasurable summit. The sophisticated expertise has made it even more convoluted but cozy to swim upon. In this perspective, Bhutanese literature is a meager drop in the ocean and even is a sprinkle. From assemblage to archiving the works are still in doom. Even it is hard to state how many books in the name of Bhutanese have been published. Neither there is any classification of the working eon nor the stratification of the works. It is the unconcealed verity that Bhutan has three primary languages – English, Nepali and Dzongkha. English has immense implication in Bhutan from the time of British rule in India. Even the medium of education in Bhutan is English. Many works can be found to have been composed in this language right from British during their rule in India. But it is still anonymous who could be the first Bhutanese author in English language.

Dzongkha is the national language of Bhutan. Approximately, 50% Bhutanese communicate in this language and 60% can manage understanding. It has no protracted history and is in the juncture of modification. Today we find in variant etiquette and echelon endeavors to amend the language spawning with neo lexicons. Many books in Dzongkha might have been composed so far, but from which period of time, the outline of Dzongkha literature embarked, is still unanswerable. Though we find Nepali language in the silhouette, more than 70% people can make comprehensible communiqué in this language and the initiator of the Bhutanese Nepali literature has also to be traced out.

First of all, I would like to extend appreciation to Ramesh Gautam, who pioneered the patron for Bhutanese literature. I would also be grateful to all the editorial panel, who, after the declaration of editorial board and the key errands had been vested on me, with their precious and volunteer shore up towards the community and the nation. I would also like to thank to all the valuable writers, whose volunteer support with their precious creation made us attain this culmination. My sincere thanks to all the guest writers, who posses gratitude upon their volunteer support by providing their valuable creations. My hearty gratitude to the senior advisors, who, beside their valuable time, visited our site and suggested us for the modification. My honest gratitude also goes to all the spectators and readers, intentionally or inadvertently visiting our site and then making it a schedule to visit.
