The part of me I would leave behind,

Are all the bad things in my mind.

I would leave the impatience that I hold inside,

And all the times where I have lied.

I would let go of the sadness that I have shared,

But not the times where I have cared.

All the things that scared me so, I would just let them go.

And leave behind the loving key, but not the ones that loved me.

I would take with me the things I cherish, but leave behind the things that perish.

And let go of all the things that made me weak,

I would remember the hardest ground, to the tallest mountain peak.

I would watch the world that held me tight,

And keep the good, the bad and everything in my sight, for the next place.
