The way we fight
Hem Guragain
Nepal
While in the ring,
Loudest we shout
Like a ‘White bellbird’
Irony: we forget fighting
And the opponent leaves beating us up.
Piercing we chatter
Like a ‘Mealy Amazon parrot’
And incognizant we remain,
That our chirp tears through our own heart.
To utter a word
We wait for the gesture
When events happen
We respond loud and clear
But folded remain our arms.
Cannibals we are like ‘Crab spiders’
Before the enemy causes an iota of harm,
We kill our fellow fighters
And set the fake ones to make noise.
When crowling is the need
We stand and pretend fighting
But actually we show up,
Shout like a ‘Blue whale groans’,
Stimulate the enemy to crush ourselves
Then we die shouting!!
