To Live Abroad

Poet

Deg Acharya
Washington, USA

Coming across woeful frosting
We came round to long suffering.
Several times our hearts clung to the wobbling motion
And got worked up by mental vibration.
To live abroad is to take the wind out of the sails
For there seems volte-face, low controls…
Many dears of ours got the wind up
And gave all their missions up;
Being so altruistic in manners
Although could open no realm of gardens.
Let’s not get one’s wires crossed with our tone
But keep one’s wits about one,
And set our eyes on
The ‘Loving Meadow Land’
